There are many things that we can learn from Ratan Tata and here are a few

1. Leaders must be visionaries

LESSONS FROM RATAN TATA

Any venture or business that lack vision falls flat in due course of time and therefore, the central leadership has to be a visionary at heart. Only a visionary can see newer avenues of business expansion where others perceive possibilities of failure. This is evident when Mr Ratan Tata himself claimed to have been dissuaded whilst venturing into automobile manufacturing without a foreign joint venture.

LESSONS FROM RATAN TATA

Many people were doubted Ratan Tata’s decisions many times. For example, when he didn’t sell his company to Ford, when he refused to sell companies that were going through loss when he bought Tetley Tea in 450 million dollars, his decisions were questioned many times. However, he had believed in his decisions, therefore, he took it without listening to others, and he made Tata tea world’s second-largest tea company. it’s not like Ratan Tata never took the wrong decisions

Yes many times you will make the wrong decisions but you must not afraid of it, you must learn from it and be more intelligent with your next decision.

There is also a popular saying from Ratan Tata “I don’t believe in making right decisions. I take decisions and then make them right.” This completely shows how confident this man is about the work he is doing.
