1. Gina Rinehart 

Gina  Hancock is an Australian billionaire businesswoman who is chairman of Hancock and prospecting, which continues to expand robustly. She made the biggest fortune from the Roy Hill Mining project, it started shipments to Asia in 2015. 2. Indra Nooyi

After joining PepsiCo in 1994, Indra Nooyi was named the company’s 5th CEO eight years later in 2006. Under Nooyi’s guidance, PepsiCo succeeded much by way of expansion and acquisition. This includes the purchase of Tropicana in 1998. And a merger with the Quaker Oats Company in 2001. The former alone gave PepsiCo a competitive edge, as Tropicana controlled 44% of the American chilled fruit juice trade.

Nooyi has also driven PepsiCo towards a healthier approach to its snacks and drinks. Expanding the number of healthy options the company offers, she also found ways of making its “fun” items healthier too.

In 2007 and 2008, Nooyi was listed as one of the Wall Street Journal’s 50 Women to Watch. And in October 2010 she was ranked by Fortune magazine at 6th place on their list for the Most Powerful Women in the World. By 2015, she climbed to 2nd place.

3.  Kiran Mazumdar 

Though Kiren Mazumdar Shaw is one of the richest and popular self-made business women, she says she became an entrepreneur by accident as she never aspired to start a business. Creating a biopharmaceutical company called Bicon in 1978, she has managed to make it one of the leaders in manufacturing a wide range of drugs.

 4.  Alice G. Vaidyan

As the chairman and Managing Director of GIC (General Insurance Corporation of India), Alice G.Vaidyanathan’s achievements are noteworthy. GIC entered the league of the 10 leading global reinsurers under her able leadership. She was instrumental in raising the market share of GIC from 55% to 65%.

5.  Susan Wojcicki

Susan Wojcicki is a Polish-American CEO of YouTube, which has more than 2 billion monthly users. As per Forbes, Susan Wojcicki advocated for 1.65 Billon dollars allegation of YouTube in 2006. She has been running YouTube as a CEO since 2014. Currently, the company’s net worth is estimated at 90 Billion Dollars. Before becoming a part of Google, she was working at Intel as a management consultant. In 2019, Forbes showed the 12th most powerful woman in the world and 44th American’s Self-made Women. She completed a master of science degree from Harvard University.
